1. General Information
Gala Jewelers LLC provides jewelry appraisal, gemological evaluation, restoration, and related consultation services. Our appraisals are based on professional gemological testing, market research, and industry standards in effect at the time of evaluation. All content on this site, including text, images, and service descriptions, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or insurance advice.
2. Appraisal Limitations
• Appraisals reflect the professional opinion of the appraiser based on available data, instruments, and observable characteristics at the time of inspection.
• Values stated represent either replacement value, fair market value, or another purpose as specified in the report.
• Appraisals do not guarantee the future resale price, market appreciation, or insurance acceptance of the item.
• Gala Jewelers LLC assumes no responsibility for loss, damage, or changes in value occurring after the date of appraisal.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information about their jewelry, ownership, and any prior alterations. Jewelry left for examination or repair must be properly documented on an Intake Form and accompanied by a signed Claim Ticket. Clients are responsible for collecting their items promptly after notification of completion. Items left beyond 90 days may incur storage fees or be considered abandoned.
4. Payment and Refund Policy
• Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Due to the nature of appraisal and consulting work, fees are non-refundable once services have been completed.
• In the event of cancellation before the work begins, administrative fees may apply.
5. Insurance and Legal Use
Appraisal reports issued by Gala Jewelers LLC are accepted by many insurance providers; however, acceptance is not guaranteed and depends on the insurer’s policies. Clients are encouraged to verify requirements with their insurance company prior to submission.
6. Privacy Policy
All client information, images, and documentation are treated as confidential and used solely for appraisal or internal record purposes. Gala Jewelers LLC does not sell, share, or distribute client data without written consent, except when required by law.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and layout, are the intellectual property of Gala Jewelers LLC and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, Gala Jewelers LLC and its representatives shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or interpretation of appraisal reports, services, or website materials.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located within San Diego County, California.
